Lheidli T’enneh Memorial Park is a beautiful place, filled with picnic tables, floral gardens, recreational activity sites, and many trails to explore. You can pack up your 2017 Toyota Tundra with a picnic cooler and bring the bikes too, and enjoy the area after the festivities start to wind down.
British Columbia Northern Exhibition (BCNE)
Formerly known as the Prince George Exhibition (PGX), the BCNE is the longest running family fair in northern Canada. The very first fair opened up in 1912, and has been going strong ever since, attracting local residents and tourists from around the world. This year’s Fall Fair celebrates 105 years in the business, and will open up on August 17th and run until August 20th. There’s plenty to do and see, and you’ll find everything from live animals, tasty treats, game booths, rides, and much more. The BCNE is an all-day affair, so you and the kids will need plenty of gear for an enjoyable trip.
